In a panel discussion on the state of the print media in New Orleans hosted last night by the Press Club of New Orleans and streamed online through the auspices of The Lens New Orleans, The Advocate’s Executive Editor Carl Redman said that the daily circulation of The Advocate New Orleans Edition is expected to soon exceed 16,000, consisting of daily subscriptions that have already reached 11,100, plus newsstand sales that are expected to reach 5,000 a day. Redman said that this has greatly exceeded The Advocate management’s expectation that daily circulation would reach 10,000 by next February.

Redman’s remarks come at approximately 10:30 in the replay of the forty-minute discussion available here.
